It's a beautiful spring day here in Durham...did I say spring? It's 70 degress less than a month before Christmas! Weird but it was good to be able to spend some time outside.
IMHO these posts are going downhill fast. But the rash got worse before it got better-- and it seems consistent with roseola (according to Dr. Google). So, in the spirit of full documentation and disclosure here is the height of my son's rashiness.
Louis has come down with roseola (herpes simplex 6..no, not that kind of herpes...get your mind out of the gutter!!)Not sure you can see the rash in these pictures but, trust me, it's there! See how modest he's being in the first pic!
Louis enjoys some birthday cake. I tried to make a cake that looked like Legos but.........not everything works out like we plan right? We learned THAT a year ago!! But it tasted good and Louis liked smashing it! The dogs ate most of the cake when he dropped it on the floor (what was I thinking with the blue icing?). See the web albums for more pics of opening his presents with cousin Katie!
Here are some pics from Louis' birthday dinner at the Red Robin (his favorite place). He almost picked Hooters but the cake is better at Red Robin......
